This page explains what happens to the information you give FlockSeed through the signup form on this site. It is short because we collect very little.
Who is responsible
FlockSeed is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@flockseed.com.
What we collect
- The email address you enter, which is what the list is for.
- Your name, if you choose to give it. This field is optional.
- Your answers to the optional questions about where you post and what slows you down.
- How you arrived here: the referring page and any campaign parameters in the URL. This tells us which posts brought people to the site.
- The wording of the consent you agreed to and the time you agreed to it, which is how we can show that consent was given.
Why we use it
To email you about FlockSeed's early access and launch, on the basis of the consent you gave when you signed up. Nothing else. We do not sell or rent the list, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf. When our email provider is connected, confirmed addresses will also be stored there so that emails can be sent. Both act on our instructions only.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you. If you never confirm your subscription, we remove the record within twelve months.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing us. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the EU or UK you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookie needed to protect the signup form against cross-site request forgery. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking.
